webinos at ICT2013 in Vilnius

The webinos project will have a booth at the ICT 2013 exhibition in Vilnius. ICT 2013 is a huge EU event (about 4000 attendees expected), which is essentially the kick-off event for the next big EU Framework Programme for Research and Innovation, named Horizon 2020.

ICT 2013 in Vilnius is a unique opportunity for projects and companies to showcase their research, ICT products and innovative creations. The conference will feature top ICT professionals from industry, academia, research. The Vice President of the European Commission, Neelie Kroes and the President of the Republic of Lithuania, Dalia Grybauskaitė will open the conference. Speakers from across the ICT sector will address a range of issues from cloud computing, broadband, ICT infrastructures, ICT skills, cyber security, long term visions on the future and much more. Experts will present details on how to participate in the next EU's Research Programme - Horizon 2020.

More than 270 proposals were submitted for the ICT 2013 exhibition. webinos is proud to be one of the 186 projects, that are selected to showcase the latest findings in advanced research, technologies, new systems, innovation in services & business and ICT products just coming to market.

The exhibition has five thematic areas and webinos is located in the the “Digitally Empowered Citizen” zone, which is in hall 5. You will find us there at booth 5C7.

Of course, we will also be there to answer questions, help visitors with installing and configuring webinos on their devices and talk about our other demos and applications (like the use of webinos in Smart Cities or the FI-CONTENT project).
