Alexandra Rudl is Head of Innovation & Incubation at bwcon GmbH. Her focus is on fostering technology entrepreneurship and accelerating the transfer of research and innovation to the market. Alexandra has managed several European projects which are aiming at stimulating entrepreneurship in Europe and fostering technology transfer in European research projects. Amongst these are the “SMARD” project which has developed new tools for the commercialization of European research outcomes and the “European Investor Gate” project which aims at bridging the gap between public research funding and private investment. Furthermore, she is initiator of the regional startup awards “BW Goes Mobile” and “innovateBW” bringing together established SMEs and ICT startups in open innovation challenges. Currently, she is coordinator of the FI Business project – a coordination action aiming at supporting startups in developing their evolving value proposition and business model for applications and services built on top of FIWARE technologies. Alexandra is also a certified Effectuation coach and holds entrepreneurship seminars for students and first time entrepreneurs.
