ModelBus® is an open source framework which is used to couple software tools for software and system engineering and bridges the gap between proprietary data formats and programming interfaces. ModelBus allows the interoperable information exchange between various tools like Rhapsody, Simulink and Enterprise Architect. This framework facilitates the collaboration of developers. The software and internet platform SPRINT aims to connect tools used by different companies – both hardware and software – to present a single unified picture of the system being developed and as well as ModelBus to interconnect multiple design and development teams in different locations.
