Fraunhofer FOKUS is working with companies worldwide. In 2015 FOKUS has generated 18 percent of the total industrial revenue from abroad. The FOKUS researchers are working particularly closely with companies from following countries:

Lecturers at universities worldwide
Fraunhofer FOKUS is also active in the field of education. Researchers from FOKUS hold professorships at universities worldwide: for example Prof. Dr. Thomas Magedanz who holds a guest professorship at the University of Chile as also the University of Cape Town in South Africa.
Through the networking of internationally renowned research organizations', transnational technical expertise and the development of international markets, Fraunhofer FOKUS wants to develop and integrate future-oriented technologies for business and society.
