Nikolay Tcholtchev (PhD) ist wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter und Projektleiter beim Kompetenzzentrum SQC am Fraunhofer-Insitut für Offene Kommunikationssysteme (FOKUS).

Ausbildung & Beruf

Nikolay Tcholtchev ist promovierter Ingenieur und Diplom-Informatiker der Technischen Universität Berlin. Derzeit arbeitet er für das Fraunhofer-Institut für Offene Kommunikationssysteme (FOKUS), wo er Projekte in den Bereichen Smart Cities (Open Urban Platforms), Netzwerk- und Systemmanagement, Cybersecurity, Autonomic Communications, Virtual and Softwarized Networks and Testbeds, VoIP Emergency Communication (NG112), Blockchain, Smart Energy, Firewall/IDS/IPS, Model-Checking, IPv4/6, IoT, Künstliche Intelligenz, Model-basiertes Testen und Testen für Sicherheitsaspekte kritischer Infrastrukturen leitet und daran beteiligt ist.

Darüber hinaus gehören folgende Aktivitäten zu seinen aktuellen Aufgaben: Technisches Projektmanagement (Industrieprojekte, H2020, EU-FP6/FP7...) und Reporting (H2020, EU-FP7, Industrieprojekte) sowie Projektakquisition (H2020, BMBF, Industrieprojekte). Des Weiteren betreut er Master- und Bachelorstudenten bei ihren Abschlussarbeiten zu den oben genannten Themen. Nikolay Tcholtchev ist regelmäßiger Teilnehmer an internationalen Konferenzen und veröffentlicht regelmäßig in Konferenz-Proceedings und Zeitschriften.
