Furthermore strategic goals and aspects of security and sustainability are on the agenda.The discussion will be moderated by Jens Fromm, Head of the Competence Centre Public IT at Fraunhofer FOKUS. e-SENS officially started in August 2013. The project strengthens the idea to promote the domestic European market with the help of innovative ICT solutions within the public administration. E-SENS accesses the results of various major EU Pilot-projects (SPOCS, e-CODEX, epSOS, PEPPOL and STORK) and will undertake important steps to provide cross-border digital services. Thereby setting standards for the interoperability on European level. Almost 100 partners from 20 European countries including Norway and Turkey are participating in the e-SENS project.
