Archana Amarnath is a Global Head of research and Founding Member of the Visionary Innovation Research Division in Frost & Sullivan. She heads the Visionary Innovation Program that monitors and analyses key Mega Trends of the Future through its thought leadership program. She is also the lead author of numerous reports and articles on various Global Mega Trends on Urbanization, Connectivity and Convergence, Augmented Reality, amongst others. Archana has led and managed a global research study on the “Future of Smart and Sustainable Cities and its Implications on Driving Convergence of Competition”. Additionally, she has presented and participated in various “Macro to Micro” workshops and conferences in Europe, particularly in topics such as Future of Cities, Smart Cities, Connectivity and Convergence, Online Retail and Future of Social Networking. She has also recently supported the writing of the “New Mega Trends” book by Frost & Sullivan and published by Palgrave Macmillan. She previously managed the “Economic Research and Analytics” team of Frost & Sullivan. She holds a Masters Degree in Economics from the University of Madras, India.
